This Privacy Policy describes how FearAlert ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website and services (collectively, the "Service").
Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and password (stored as a secure hash).
Alert configuration: We store the alert rules, tickers, and thresholds you configure so we can evaluate and deliver alerts on your behalf.
Billing information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. We receive limited billing details (last 4 digits, expiry, billing name) from Stripe.
Usage data: We collect basic usage information such as alert fire events, login timestamps, and feature usage to operate and improve the Service.
Communications: If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence.
We use the information we collect to: (a) provide, operate, and maintain the Service; (b) send you alert notifications you have configured; (c) process payments and manage your subscription; (d) respond to your inquiries; (e) detect and prevent fraud or abuse; and (f) improve and develop the Service.
