What is FearAlert's Canadian sentiment score?
The Canada Fear & Greed Index is a composite sentiment score for the Toronto Stock Exchange, calculated from five market factors using the S&P/TSX Composite (^GSPTSE) and iShares S&P/TSX 60 ETF (XIU.TO). It scores overall Canadian market sentiment from 0 (Extreme Fear) to 100 (Extreme Greed).

How it's calculated
The Canadian score combines five factors into a single 0–100 reading from daily OHLCV data. Market data is sourced from licensed providers including Tiingo and Alpha Vantage where configured.
How it works
Create a FearAlert account, then add a payment method in the dashboard to activate the 1-month monitoring trial.
In the dashboard, create a new alert rule, select "Fear & Greed Index" as the indicator, and choose "Canada" as the market.
