What is the daily digest?
The daily digest is a scheduled alert type that fires at a configured UTC hour every day. Unlike threshold-based alerts that fire only when a condition is crossed, the daily digest fires unconditionally — giving you a consistent morning or evening market check-in regardless of market conditions.
Each digest includes the current Fear & Greed Index composite score, all seven sub-indicators with their individual values, the day-over-day change, and the current zone (Extreme Fear → Extreme Greed). It's like having a market sentiment analyst on your schedule.
Setup
In your FearAlert dashboard, click "Add Rule" and select "Daily Digest" as the alert type.
Select the UTC hour for your digest. Popular choices: 14:00 UTC (market open EST), 21:00 UTC (market close EST).
Receive the digest by email, SMS, push notification, or any combination — your choice.
Every day at your configured UTC hour, you'll receive a full FGI briefing. On weekends, it uses the latest available market data.
